Finding enough relevant topics for employee advocacy and thought leadership often still means someone in marketing has to keep checking company blogs, industry publications, LinkedIn Pages and other sources.

With the new Heyoo Content Agent, teams can turn this into a continuous content discovery workflow inside Heyoo.

Admins define which sources Heyoo should monitor, what kind of content to look for and which employees it should be relevant to. Heyoo then uses relevant new content to suggest complete advocacy campaigns for admins or personalised LinkedIn post ideas for individual employees.

Marketing gets a steady flow of relevant inspiration without giving up control over what actually becomes a campaign or post.

Why we built this

Most marketing and communications teams already have a good idea of where relevant content comes from.

It might be the company blog, an industry publication, a partner, a relevant LinkedIn Page or a news outlet covering the market.

The challenge is keeping track of all of it. Someone has to regularly check those sources, decide what is relevant, think about which employees it could be useful for and then turn that information into something people could actually post about.

The Heyoo Content Agent connects these steps directly with your employee advocacy and thought leadership workflow. You configure the sources once and tell Heyoo what to pay attention to. The Content Agent then keeps monitoring them and brings relevant suggestions into the right place in Heyoo.

What’s new exactly?

Admins can now find the Heyoo Content Agent under Settings in the left main menu.

There, you can add and manage different types of content sources:

  • Blogs and other URLs
  • News outlets
  • RSS feeds
  • LinkedIn Pages

Heyoo also suggests relevant sources based on your company profile and what your company does.

For each source, you can configure how the Content Agent should use it:

  • How frequently Heyoo should monitor the source
  • Whether it should generate campaign ideas, post ideas or both
  • Which employee groups the source is relevant to
  • Which types of content to focus on, such as opinion pieces, product updates, market shifts or data driven insights
  • Additional instructions for what Heyoo should look for
  • Whether the source is company owned
Heyoo Add Source Agent screen with fields for source type, monitoring frequency, whether to use the source for post or campaign ideas, user groups and content type focus
Each source has its own monitoring frequency, idea type, employee groups, content focus and instructions.

You can manage your existing sources from one overview, see which sources are active and set up different content discovery workflows for different employee groups.

Set up the workflow around your content strategy

Not every source should be used in the same way.

Your company blog might be useful for product related advocacy campaigns. An industry publication could be more relevant for subject matter experts who regularly share their perspective on market developments. Another source might only be useful for a specific country team or department.

The Content Agent lets admins configure this at source level.

For example, you could ask Heyoo to monitor an industry publication for market shifts and opinion pieces, use those insights for personal post suggestions and only make those suggestions available to a specific employee group. At the same time, you could monitor your own company blog for new product updates and use those articles as inspiration for new advocacy campaigns.

This lets marketing define the structure once while keeping the incoming inspiration relevant to the people who will actually use it.

From source content to campaign inspiration

When a source is configured for campaign ideas, Heyoo monitors it for relevant new content.

When it finds something suitable, the Content Agent creates a complete advocacy campaign inspiration brief and places it under Campaigns > Inspiration.

Review complete campaign suggestions from your configured sources before adjusting and launching them to employees.

The admin then decides what happens next. You can review the suggested campaign, choose whether you want to use it and further tweak the campaign before launching it to employees.

The Content Agent provides the starting point. Marketing still controls which campaigns actually go live and how they are shaped before employees receive them.

Heyoo also remembers which articles have already been used recently, helping prevent the same source content from repeatedly appearing as new inspiration.

From source content to personalised employee posts

The Content Agent can also create post suggestions directly for employees.

When a source is configured for post ideas, Heyoo takes relevant content from that source and turns it into inspiration tailored to the individual employee. That means the source provides the topic and context, while Heyoo takes the individual employee into account when creating the suggestion.

Employees can find these ideas directly on their dashboard and under Create Post.

Because admins can connect different sources to different employee groups, the inspiration can also reflect what is relevant to each part of the organisation. A sales team, leadership group and group of technical experts do not necessarily need the same topics. Their Content Agent sources do not have to be the same either.

More relevant inspiration, with marketing still in control

The Heyoo Content Agent brings content discovery into the same workflow where teams already manage employee advocacy and thought leadership.

Admins decide which sources matter, what Heyoo should look for, which employees should receive the inspiration and whether it should lead to campaign or personal post suggestions. Heyoo keeps monitoring those sources and brings relevant opportunities into the right workflow.

For campaigns, marketing reviews and adjusts the suggestion before anything is launched. For personal post inspiration, employees receive ideas tailored to them rather than identical copy for everyone.

The result is a more structured flow from relevant company and industry content to authentic LinkedIn activity, with marketing setting the direction and people staying in control of what they ultimately share.
